The Greek Super League consists of 16 teams and uses a double round-robin point system. In a single match, the winner receives 3 points, the loser receives 0 points, and each team earns 1 point in case of a draw. At the end of the season, teams are ranked based on their accumulated points; in the event of a tie in points, goal difference is used to determine ranking. After the season concludes, the top two teams in the standings are directly promoted to the Greek Super League, while the bottom four teams are relegated to the third-tier league.
