There are 18 teams and 34 rounds in total. Each club plays against all teams for twice. The teams will be ranked according to the points, and if the teams get same points, then it will be ranked by winning games, goal difference, and goals scored. Top 3 teams will qualify for the Copa Libertadores of next season. The 4th to 7th place will play in the Copa Sudamericana. The second to last team will participate in the play-off. The last team will be relegated to Chile Primera B.
