A total of 10 teams participated in the Montenegro Prva Crnogorska Liga. The home and away games are played in 3 rounds. If the points are the same, the goal difference will determine the ranking. The team with the highest points wins the championship and at the same time is eligible to participate in the UEFA Champions League qualifier next season. The second and third league teams will participate in the Europa Cup qualification next season.
