The 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup was held in Poland. There are 24 teams in the competition.The first stage will be a group stage. The 24 teams will be divided into six groups and play a single match. The top two teams in each group and the third places of the four best-performing groups will advance to the round of 16. (If there is a tie, it will be broken by goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head results and head-to-head goals, etc.)The second stage will be a single-legged knockout game. If tied, extra time is played (15 minutes each in the first and second half) with a penalty shoot-out followed if needed.
