There a total of eight rounds in the Scottish Cup. Except for the semi-final and final round, if the game is tied after 90 minutes, it will be replayed at the home ground of the other team. If still tied, extra time will be played (15 minutes each for the first and second half) with a penalty shoot-out followed if necessary. Semi-final and final: The semi-final and final will be held in a neutral venue. If the game is tied after 90 minutes, extra time will be played (15 minutes each for the first and second half) with a penalty shoot-out followed if necessary. Winner of the Scottish Cup can also qualify for the Europa League. If the champion has already qualified for the Champions League through the league ranking, the place passes to the highest ranked team who have not yet qualified.
