Informação
The German Bundesliga consists of 18 teams and operates on a double round-robin system (each team plays against every other team twice, once at home and once away). In each match, the winner receives 3 points, the loser receives 0 points, and a draw earns both teams 1 point each; at the end of the season, teams are ranked based on their accumulated points. If two or more teams have the same number of points, rankings shall be determined in the following order: a) Teams with the highest goal difference in the league; b) Teams with the most goals scored in the league; c) Teams with the highest points total from head-to-head matches; d) Teams with the highest goal difference in head-to-head matches; e) Teams with the most away goals in head-to-head matches; f) Teams with the highest total number of away goals over the entire season; g) If the teams remain tied, the relevant teams must play a playoff match at a neutral venue to determine the final ranking.      In the 2026–27 season, the top four teams in the league will qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League, while the fifth-place team will compete in next season’s UEFA Europa League. The sixth-place team will take part in the UEFA Europa League (the German Cup champion can also participate in the Europa League; however, if the German Cup champion has already secured a spot in the Champions League or Europa League, that Europa League berth will be allocated to the seventh-placed team in the Bundesliga). The bottom two teams in the league will be relegated directly to the 2. Bundesliga, while the third-from-bottom team will face the third-place team in the 2. Bundesliga in a two-legged promotion/relegation playoff.
