The Japanese J2 League consists of 22 teams playing in a double cycle of home and away matches. Scores are calculated as follows: the winner of each match gets 3 points, the loser has no points, the drawn team each gets 1 point, and the final ranking is based on the number of points. If the points are the same, the ranking is divided by the goal difference, goal scored and game record.The top two teams in the league will be promoted to J1 next season and relegation will be abolished this season.
